Briggs &
Veselka Co. sponsored a calf in the Houston
Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble. Shelby
Butler with the San Augustine 4-H club caught the
B&V Calf and was awarded a $1,200.00 scholarship.
She will use the money to purchase a calf to raise,
show and sell at next year's Rodeo. The proceeds
from the sale will go into a college fund for
Shelby. B&V employees Meresa Morgan, John & Pat
Flatowicz, David Phelps and Mark Heffner were there
to congratulate Shelby. |
