Sheila is a certified public accountant and an attorney with over 14 years of experience in delivering high-level assurance and consulting services. Her vast expertise includes audit services, agreed-upon procedures, forensic accounting and litigation support, and mergers and acquisitions due diligence. She also has extensive experience in analyzing complex business transactions related to accounting, economic and financial issues.

She has made recommendations which enabled a client to select and implement sophisticated accounting system and another to receive significant research & development tax credits.
Sheila earned a B.S. in Public Accounting, summa cum laude, from Mercy College, completed her M.B.A. at Long Island University, with Distinction, and earned a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Sheila is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the State Bar of Texas. She is also a member of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs (AAA-CPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA), where she serves on the Houston Chapter’s Accounting and Auditing (A&A) and Public Relations Committees.
