Sheila Enriquez, CPA, JD, offers a powerful blend of financial expertise and legal perspective to her publicly traded and privately held company clients.

Sheila is a certified public accountant and an attorney with over 14 years of experience in delivering high-level assurance and consulting services. Her vast expertise includes audit services, agreed-upon procedures, forensic accounting and litigation support, and mergers and acquisitions due diligence. She also has extensive experience in analyzing complex business transactions related to accounting, economic and financial issues.
Sheila’s most recent accomplishments include:

• Worked closely with a mid-market oilfield services company through a series of acquisitions over a 3-year period, which increased revenues from $25 million to $100 million annually
• While working with a mid-market personal services company, she uncovered an ambiguous contract clause with a former shareholder; her advice to the client to seek outside counsel and her assistance throughout the litigation process resulted in a contract settlement that saved the company millions of dollars

Sheila thrives on the personal rewards of surpassing traditional client relationships and enjoys her status as the “Go-To” person for important resources that help her clients achieve their goals. She has made recommendations which enabled a client to select and implement sophisticated accounting system and another to receive significant research & development tax credits.

Sheila earned a B.S. in Public Accounting, summa cum laude, from Mercy College, completed her M.B.A. at Long Island University, with Distinction, and earned a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Sheila is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the State Bar of Texas. She is also a member of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs (AAA-CPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA), where she serves on the Houston Chapter’s Accounting and Auditing (A&A) and Public Relations Committees.
