- Not every valuation is the same. Services can range from a full opinion for an IRS issue to as little as consulting services that will help you work through issues surrounding the valuations of closely held businesses. We tailor our work product and services to meet your needs through three different levels of service.
|
| |
- |
Opinion of Value similar to an audit-level service in accounting end result is a 50-70 page report and the level of comfort is our highest that we can provide. The conclusion of value we arrive at will be a single number. This level of service would be typical in cases where the valuation may need to be supported and defended against the IRS or other instances that may involve litigation. |
| |
|
|
| |
- |
Estimate of Value similar to a review-level service in accounting end result is a 12-15 page report. The report will state that we had scope limitations in our work and we did not address all the issues we normally do in an Opinion report. The conclusion of value we arrive at could be a single number, or a range of values. We use many of the same techniques as an opinion of value, but do not do as much work to support and document our assumptions. |
| |
|
|
| |
- |
Calculation of Value a consulting engagement that is similar to a compilation-level service in accounting, but with little more input/judgment on our part end result is an oral report or written memo describing what we did and the attachments supporting the calculations of value that we performed. We base most of our work on historical and projected financial statements that you provide to us. Our fees vary depending on the scope of work needed. |
