As part of the firm’s continued growth, Briggs & Veselka Co. CPAs and Business Advisors is pleased to announce the addition of four professionals in its Houston and Austin offices.

Stephen Webster has joined the firm as a Senior Manager in the firm’s State & Local Tax practice.  

Webster brings nearly a decade of experience in state and local income and franchise tax matters including compliance/prep work to audit defenses, refund reviews, and provision review and preparation, most recently from Grant Thornton, a large national CPA firm.

The audit department has three additions, two in the firm’s Austin office and one in Houston

Keith Lindsey, Senior Manager, joined the firm’s Austin office from the BKD office in Little Rock, Arkansas. Lindsey’s experience includes financial statement and employee benefit plan audits for clients in the power & utilities and manufacturing industries.  

Suzanne Rodriguez was hired as an audit Senior Manager from PMD Helin Donovan. She brings experience of serving clients up to $120 billion in revenue, in financial services, non-profit, and professional services industries.

Lily Wang joined the firm’s Houston audit team as a Principal.  Wang also serves private and public clients in the power & utilities and manufacturing industries. 

Wang brings extensive experience consulting with China-based companies on establishing US entities.  She was most recently with BDO-Houston.

The firm added a new IT Director, Jim Herrmann.  Herrmann has more than 25 years IT management experience at IBM, FMC Technologies, Rosetta Industries, and most recently, Noble Energy.

He will oversee the firm’s process of improving innovation and technologies to better serve the firm’s clients.
